An annual (and PRIVATE) convention for the heavily modified.
The world's first and only large scale convention for people into advanced body modification, ModCon is an annual invitation-only event sponsored by Shannon Larratt/BME, and held in Toronto. It usually takes place in the early summer.
Invitees meet, mingle and have the chance to have procedures performed by invited practitioners and to have professional photos taken of them. In addition to the event itself, ModCon has produced a CD-ROM (for the 1999 convention) and, most recently, a beautiful colour and black/white photo book, accompanied by an hour-long VCD.
Attendance is limited and by invite only.
