'''BME/Extreme''' is the heavy body modification branch of [[BME]], founded in [[1996]] on the one year anniversary of [[Jack Yount]]'s death. It contains [[Genital Piercing|genital piercing]]s and [[Genital Tattoo|tattoos]], [[implant]]s of all sorts, [[Surgical Modification|surgical modification]]s (including [[subincision]]s, [[tongue splitting]], and more), non-surgical modifications ([[vacuum pumping]], [[saline injection]], [[nipple stretching]], and so on), as well as [[nullification]] ([[eunuch]]s, [[Female Genital Cutting|female genital cutting]], etc).

A BME/Extreme membership also includes access to [[BME/HARD]], as well as to the extended mainstream [[piercing]], [[tattoo]]ing, and [[scarification]] galleries on [[BME]].

== BME/Extreme2 ==

'''Extreme2''' (or '''E2''') is a membership option for those people not interested in the heavier content on BME. It includes access to all of the full piercing galleries (for example, you could see all of the pictures in the [[nipple piercing]] gallery). In addition, it includes complete access to all of the genital piercing photos, the genital tattooing pictures, as well as the implant pictures (including genital implants, 3D art and more).  E2 is a subset of a full membership so it does not include any pictures not part of a main membership.

Users can purchase memberships which helps pay for the site's bandwidth. Free memberships are available to people who contribute photos and stories.
