Regrowth

Regrowth means exactly what you'd expect it to. In a body modification context it is used to describe the (generally incomplete) joining back together that will occur as a part of the healing process when a body part is bifurcated.

Modifications that are susceptible to regrowth:

• Tongue splitting
• Hood splitting
• Tongue frenectomy
• Subincision
• Head splitting
• Meatotomy
• Superincision
• Genital bisection
