Using BME images to illustrate entries
When you add images to the BME encyclopedia, you are welcome to use any images from BMEzine.com to help illustrate your entry. However, it is very important that the images contain a credit tag. This page contains a number you can use, or you can make your own. If you'd like to make your own, it should look a little like this (at an utter minimum). You can also use any BME logos that you'd like in it.
Alternately, here are three that I have made for you that you are welcome to use. They are photoshop files (the sample pictures are just for illustration).
Team BME logo (this one is my favorite personally). Click here to download a .PSD file of the TeamBME logo.
Militia Skull logo. Click here to download a .PSD file of the Militia Skull.
BME/Calm logo. Click here to download a .PSD of the Calm logo
Using IAM images to illustrate entries
Please don't use pictures off people's IAM pages without first asking them. I'm sure they won't mind, but it's best to ask. Please cite the source (if they want), and still tag the images if appropriate.
Book covers, Movie Stills, and Promotional Photos
I am totally fine with you using photos of book and movie covers to illustrate those entries, as well as movie stills (just not too many), and promotional photos from celebrities, product manufacturers, and so on. If possible please cite the source, and depending on the context, they should still be tagged.
